Elevate Life Church
Elevate Life Church is one of the tallest buildings in Frisco, TX. The cathedral stretches about 10 stories high, and the new megachurch expansion connects to the existing building on 27 acres. The building’s Gothic architecture draws on the historic traditions of the church, but the inside is comprised of modern-day accoutrements like stadium-style seating for 3,000 people. The sanctuary roof is supported by multiple shop fabricated steel trusses that span over 190 feet. Cathedral framing consists of steel rigid frames tied together with steel beams and moment connections. Foundations for the cathedral columns utilize concrete tie beams approximately six feet deep in which the steel column and base plates are buried for additional strength.
The architect for Elevate Life is NCA Partners in Dallas, TX.
